about us.
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Our inspiration comes from a simple hope: to raise our kids with wide-open spaces, big imaginations, dirt under their nails, and the freedom to be curious about the world around them.
We want to leave this little corner of the earth better than we found it—through thoughtful stewardship, regenerative practices, and a willingness to keep learning as we go. We believe animals deserve to be raised with dignity, love, and respect, whether they are cherished companions or help nourish our family.
At Harvey Homestead, we’re building a life rooted in hard work, gratitude, a little bit of chaos, and the belief that the best lessons are often learned outside—with muddy boots, busy hands, and a whole lot of heart.

our story.
Kailee and Stefan met in Iowa in 2011 and quickly discovered they shared many of the same dreams: building a family, living a little closer to the land, and creating a life full of adventure.
Seven years later, they were married, raising their first two children, Kalix and Ridley, and settling into a 1.5-acre property in Loveland, Colorado. Before long, they realized they wanted more room—not only for their growing family to roam, explore, and get a little dirty, but also to truly learn the art and science of sustainable living and regenerative farming.
In 2021, they took the leap and purchased their 58-acre ranch in Livermore, Colorado. Today, the Harvey family includes five kids—Kalix, Ridley, Knox, Sloan, and Sawyer “PJ”—along with a growing collection of animals, projects, and probably at least one new homestead idea every week.
